On 23 July 2020 the SASCO officials visited the home of Comrade Siyabulela Lufele to extend the organisations heartfelt condolences and to show support to the family of our fallen Comrade.
While with the family, SASCO officials emphasised the immense contribution of comrade Lufele to the student movement and to the broader MDM. The student movement has lost a bright light and the marginalised students of our country are poorer having lost a gallant fighter and meticulous organiser.
The family and the organisation will be having a memorial service for Comrade Siya on Monday the 27th of July at 14h00.
Comrade Lufele will be laid to rest as follows:
Burial day: Wed 29 July 2020
Funeral service: Sat 01 August 2020
Town: Hofmeyr, next to Craddock.
